While a group of bundled observers stood on shore, drinking peppermint lattes and tut-tutting, eleven brave souls made the annual New Year's Day plunge into the lake.
Almost as much fun as jumping in was treading water, waiting to get out.
We definitely need to get a second ladder on the dock.
The jump concluded a long weekend of revelry -- daily potlucks, a chili cookoff, and a black light New Year's Eve dance. Thanks to all who participated -- the season is off to great, early start!
